Showcasing Cottage 10 of our ARC20 project in Rockhampton. Lyndal Johnson rang us at the start of the ARC20 project and asked if she could volunteer her time to the project and has been working with us and other volunteers ever since. Lyndal provided labour to remove overgrown weeds and shrubs, trimmed weeds and removed rubbish – hard and dirty work! Lyndal also established gardens around the cottages and grounds and continues to help the ladies (tenants) with gardening and weeding. Lyndal also chipped in with the construction crews, doing whatever was needed. She become a highly regarded workmate to the construction team.
The “Lyndal Claire Cottage” is now home to a tenant who is now part of a safe and supportive community.
